RPA Developer / UiPath Developer

Responsibilities:

• Serve in different capacities as a Business Process Analyst, RPA Developer, Support Engineer, and Course Trainer as assigned across multiple concurrent projects.

• Collaborate with customers to identify and define use cases within existing IT and business operations, including process optimization, redesign, and reengineering.

• Gather business requirements, and design, develop, test, deploy, and document automation workflows.

• Create, develop, and review Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Process Definition Documents (PDD), and Solution Design Documents (SDD).

• Deliver process automation solutions for onsite and remote client engagements to support successful adoption.

• Follow RPA implementation best practices and develop programs, scripts, and objects that are efficient, maintainable, reusable, and easy to understand.

• Understand business processes from workflow diagrams and translate them into automated solutions.

• Create and document test procedures, scenarios, and cases for pre-UAT and UAT phases.

• Conduct thorough testing in deployment and supported environments, with responsibility for the overall testing cycle.

• Maintain RPA solutions and monitor the successful execution of automation processes.

• Provide L1–L3 support for existing automation processes, enhance documentation, and implement change requests according to incident and request priorities.

• Analyse incidents, determine root causes, and troubleshoot issues arising from day-to-day robotic process operations while providing timely resolutions within agreed SLA parameters.

• Manage assigned tasks related to fixes, enhancements, and support delivery effectively.

• Adhere to Incident, Problem, and Change Management guidelines.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience with the UiPath platform. Position level will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and proficiency.

• Strong skills in analysing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining application code across various environments.

• Ability to understand complex requirements and define appropriate technical and functional solutions.

• Experience integrating applications using web services, REST APIs, RDBMS, and open-source databases.

• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven experience developing automation solutions using UiPath.

• Experience working within software delivery lifecycles using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.

• UiPath Automation Developer Professional (ADP) Certification is preferred or to be obtained within 3 months of employment.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage timelines and deliver assigned tasks effectively.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in culturally diverse and inclusive environments.

• Flexibility to support non-standard working hours when required.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn existing and new technologies.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.

• Written and spoken fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa is preferred to support communication with regional stakeholders and clients.

• Experience in Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) implementation using UiPath Document Understanding or similar IDP solutions such as Document Intelligence, Document AI, or Staple AI is an advantage.

• Exposure to Power Automate, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Kofax Kapow, OpenSpan, Tricentis, and/or Selenium is an advantage.

• Knowledge of C#, VB.NET, .NET, and/or Python programming is an added advantage.
