Location: Singapore (HQ),with regular coordination across Vietnam and India Team: Digital &Technology About JSC Group JSC Group is a Singapore-headquartered manufacturer and exporter of precision fasteners, including Flex Lock Nuts, Aero Tight Nuts, Nylon Nuts, Shear Nuts and Bolts, and Specialised Fasteners. We manufacture in Vietnam, operate across Singapore, Vietnam, and India, and supply customers in the USA and UK. Job Summary JSC Group is looking for a hands-on Cloud Architect to build and run the cloud platform behind our manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer operations. This is a hybrid role. You will set architecture direction and also do the engineering work to deliver it. You will design secure, reliable, cost-effective AWS solutions that connect our factory, offices, and customers. That includes our AI-powered quality inspection platform (QCX),order management and export documentation workflows, and data that moves between sites and time zones. You will work closely with Quality Assurance, Procurement, Engineering & NPD, Operations, and business development teams. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design • Design cloud architectures for JSC's core business systems, including order management, supplier and procurement data, shipment and export documentation, and quality inspection records. • Lead the architecture of the QCX quality inspection platform, covering image and inspection-data pipelines, AI model integration ,traceability, and customer-facing access. • Build reliable connectivity and data sync between the Vietnam factory, the Singapore HQ, and the India operations. • Set reference architectures, reusable patterns, and engineering standards suited to a mid-sized manufacturing exporter. • Review solutions for scalability, availability, performance, security, and cost, keeping cloud spend proportionate to business value. • Work with business stakeholders to turn operational needs into practical technology roadmaps, such as faster order reconciliation, better shipment visibility, and quality data customers can access. Engineering Execution • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or equivalent) and automation frameworks. • Build and manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2,ECS/EKS, Lambda, ELB, RDS, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, Event Bridge, and CloudWatch. • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation. • Automate document-heavy workflows such as purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of conformance, using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible. • Integrate cloud systems with ERP, email, and office productivity tools (Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace). • Troubleshoot production issues across sites, lead root cause analysis, and put preventive fixes in place. Security, Data Protection & Compliance • Secure the platform with least-privilege access, encryption at rest and in transit, secrets management, and strong identity controls. • Protect customer and commercial data, including pricing, drawings, specifications, and order history, with appropriate segregation between customers and internal teams. • Implement security controls and monitoring, including IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, and Guard Duty. • Support quality and customer audit requirements by keeping inspection records, material certifications, and lot traceability retained, tamper-evident, and retrievable. • Help the business meet data protection obligations across Singapore, Vietnam, India, the US, and the UK. Basic Qualifications • 7+ years in cloud architecture and engineering roles. • Strong hands-on AWS experience across compute, containers, serverless, databases, storage, and security services. • Solid understanding of AWS networking, including VPC,VPN or Direct Connect, routing, and multi-site connectivity. • Proficiency in Python plus at least one of Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible. • Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code(GitLab, Terraform, CloudFormation). • A track record of designing scalable, secure, cost-optimised architectures. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • The ability to explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical teams in QA, procurement, and operations. Preferred Qualifications • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty). • Experience with AWS AI services, such as Bedrock and Bedrock Agents, or with computer vision and ML pipelines, especially for quality inspection. • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial B2B environments. • Familiarity with quality systems and traceability requirements (ISO 9001; aerospace or automotive supply chains a plus). • Experience with ERP integration and document automation(OCR, PDF and Excel processing). • Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus). • Experience supporting teams across multiple countries and time zones.
