Lead System Engineer – WINTEL / RHEL

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server and RHEL infrastructure.
- Perform system administration including user management, access controls, patching, and security hardening.
- Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Monitor system performance and optimise infrastructure reliability and resource utilisation.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution.
- Manage virtualisation platforms and storage solutions, including configuration and capacity planning.
- Support infrastructure changes, upgrades, and cross-functional implementation activities.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and architectural records.
- Conduct security assessments and implement infrastructure security best practices.
- Participate in incident management and provide on-call support when required.
- Keep updated with emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server / Wintel administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, operations, or support.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong team coordination and collaboration skills.
- Good stakeholder presentation skills.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proven ability to prepare accurate and detailed technical documentation.
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
