The Category Operations Project Intern role is responsible for supporting the scaling of the category through leading cross-function initiatives, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business.
As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests.

Responsibilities
- Assist with industry strategy and business analysis, including business data tracking, core operational metric monitoring, and daily data analysis to help the team identify industry opportunities and issues;
- Participate in key operational initiatives and project tracking for core modules such as merchants and products, driving cross-team information synchronization and process collaboration;
- Support the organization and output of materials related to business weekly reports, operational reviews, and industry strategy analysis;
- Assist the team in the daily operation of basic operational mechanisms such as target breakdown and strategy tracking.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
- Current pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, with strong data analysis and logical thinking skills;
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and execution-focused, capable of efficiently managing multi-threaded tasks;
- Strong learning ability, excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a sense of ownership, results-oriented mindset, and problem-solving capabilities;
- Internship Duration (Nice-have): Available to work 5 days a week; preference given to those who can intern continuously for 6 months or more;
- Base Location: LA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship experience in domestic / international e-commerce is a plus;
