Accountant (East, 6mths!*) - up $5500

Key Responsibilities

• Review, reconcile, and resolve inter-company balances and settlements between group entities.

• Extract, analyze, and consolidate financial data from ERP systems and accounting records.

• Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and documentation for Inter-company settlements, Cross-border remittances, Debt waivers, Corporate liquidations.

• Coordinate with internal finance teams and external stakeholders such as Tax consultants, Auditors, Banks , Corporate secretarial service providers

• Support tax compliance, tax audits, tax health checks, and entity liquidation projects.

• Prepare and maintain: Year-end financial statements, Tax filing support documents, Accounting records and audit documentation

• Handle month-end closing activities for dormant overseas companies.

• Monitor settlement progress and ensure proper record keeping and governance compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of accounting/finance experience.

• Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous: Financial reporting, Inter-company accounting, Tax compliance, Treasury, Corporate restructuring/liquidation

• Strong understanding of Accounting principles, Financial reporting, Reconciliations

• Experience preparing statutory financial statements and supporting tax filings.

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

• Advanced Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus.

• Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with various teams.
