Java Big Data Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Involve in software and product development and ad hoc projects.

• Create well-architected and structured software solutions.

• Perform software analysis, software design, code implementation, software integration, module verification, and validation.

• Deliver software products for integration testing in accordance with software development standard procedures.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and software deliverables.

• Participate in technical discussions and provide solutions based on industry best practices.

• Follow CA-CIB methodology, including Agile practices.

• Support applications in production by analyzing and resolving issues as they arise.

• Work independently with autonomy and reliability while maintaining close communication with project and support teams.

Qualifications and Profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in Java/J2EE development.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Big Data technology development, including Hadoop platforms.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology preferred.

• Strong understanding and working experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems.

Technical Skills

• Programming & Frameworks: Java/J2EE, Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services.

• Messaging & Big Data: Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, HBase, Storm, Ignite, Flink).

• Databases: SQL/NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, HBase, Redis.

• DevOps & Tools: Maven, Git, CI/CD, Cucumber, Kibana, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Engineering Practices: Design patterns, performance optimization, TDD, JUnit, Mockito, DevOps practices.
