Site Engineer (Geotechnical / Ground Improvement / Construction)
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily site activities according to project schedules and specifications.
- Track site progress, resolve site issues, and ensure projects are completed on time.
- Review site conditions and soil investigation reports to support construction planning.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including site reports, progress reports, and QA/QC records.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
- Monitor the usage of materials, equipment, and site resources to support cost control.
- Provide technical support and conduct regular site inspections.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience or knowledge in geotechnical engineering, foundation works, or ground engineering is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
- Good communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
