5 days R&D Engineer up to $4000 (Sembawang)

R&D Engineer Location: Sembawang Working Hours: 8am - 530pm (Mon to Fri) Salary: $2800 - $4000 Job Description The R&D Engineer will support product research, testing, development, and technical transfer while working closely with customers and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental research and analyse chemical properties of products and compounds

• Develop new products, test methods, and improve raw materials or existing formulations

• Perform product testing, trial runs, and inspections

• Provide technical support and collaborate with customers on product/application development

• Prepare quality system documentation, including R&D reports, test methods, SOPs, and risk analysis

• Support customer and certification audits

• Coordinate technical transfer to production and grade transfers from other plants

• Source and manage procurement of testing equipment and machines

• Work closely with internal departments to resolve technical issues

• Participate in company-wide projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Chemical Process, Engineering, or related discipline

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, especially in failure analysis and estimation

• Good conceptual, problem-solving, and organisational skills

• Customer-focused, proactive, responsible, and able to work well in teams
