Security Software Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and assess emerging cyber threats and security risks. Perform malware analysis, threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and incident investigations. Design, develop, and maintain secure backend applications and APIs. Build and support scalable microservices using Java, Go, or Python. Implement security controls across enterprise applications and cloud environments. Perform network security administration, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation. Develop automation tools to improve operational efficiency and security monitoring. Support cloud-native platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Analyze application and security logs to identify anomalies and improve detection capabilities. Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, security, and application teams to deliver secure technology solutions. Prepare technical documentation, security reports, and implementation guides. Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles. Strong experience in one or more of the following: Threat Intelligence Threat Hunting Malware Analysis Incident Response Network Security Vulnerability Assessment Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python development. Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS or Alibaba Cloud), and CI/CD practices. Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Redis. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) Reverse Engineering Android Security Cloud Security DevSecOps Data Analytics or Machine Learning Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or Payment Systems experience Professional certifications such as CEH, CISSP, GCTI, GCFA, Security+, or PMP are advantageous.
