Lead Support SME (Security Lead) – Microsoft Purview (Contract)

L3 Support SME – Microsoft Purview Location: Singapore Duration: 6-mths contract
Role Summary • Provide Level 3 SME advisory and support for Microsoft Purview in a regulated enterprise environment, covering design-aligned troubleshooting, configuration review, stakeholder coordination, go-live readiness, Hypercare, and warranty issue resolution. Key Responsibilities • Support Microsoft Purview workloads including Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, and Data Lifecycle Management. • Advise on go-live activities such as label publishing, DLP simulation or enforcement, IRM policy activation, retention policy deployment, and evidence review. • Provide Hypercare support for DLP tuning, label policy behavior, IRM alert triage, retention outcomes, and Sentinel or Splunk alert routing. • Review screenshots, policy status, validation outputs, logs, and configuration evidence shared by technical or client-side teams. • Investigate warranty issues linked to signed-off Purview design, build, or configuration guidance. • Coordinate with compliance, SOC, IT security, and operations stakeholders to validate issues, recommend remediation, and track closure. • Maintain issue logs, advisory notes, RAID updates, resolution summaries, and phase closure inputs. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview in enterprise security, compliance, or regulated environments. • Practical knowledge of Purview sensitivity labels, DLP policies, Insider Risk Management scenarios, and retention policies. • Ability to advise on Purview design and implementation across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. • Familiarity with Microsoft built-in Sensitive Information Types, SOC integration touchpoints, Sentinel or Splunk routing, and issue tracking. • Strong understanding of L3 escalation handling, go-live readiness, Hypercare support, warranty management, and stakeholder evidence review. Consulting and Delivery Skills • Confidently lead technical discussions with compliance, SOC, IT security, and operations teams. • Demonstrate clear advisory communication, structured issue ownership, practical judgment, and disciplined closure management. Qualifications and Preferred Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. • Relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable, including SC-401, SC-200, SC-100, SC-300, or AZ-500. • Preferred experience includes Purview go-live, Hypercare, warranty support, post-implementation stabilization, and advisory support for Information Protection, DLP, IRM, DLM, Sentinel, or Splunk integrations.
