Senior Platform Engineer
Job Description
Senior Platform Engineer Bifrost is building technology that gives AI the fastest path to understanding the physical world. We work at the frontier of AI and robotics - our customers use our products to land spacecraft, detect threats across oceans, and train autonomous systems in minutes instead of months. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to drive the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality software systems. You will guide engineering and infrastructure decisions, and work closely with product teams to turn complex requirements into reliable solutions.
đź“ś Core Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of our simulation platform’s infrastructure
- Act as the bridge between Founders, product, engineering, sales, and end users. Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Write and review code, moving comfortably across the full stack. Here is what we use:
- Web: React, with Typescript
- Backend: Python, Postgres, Temporal
- Engine: Unreal Engine
- Infra: AWS (with Terraform), Kubernetes (with Helm and ArgoCD)
- Raise the team’s technical bar
🛠️ Qualifications
- You are based in Singapore
- You have development, architecture, and administration experience with AWS and Kubernetes
- You have solid fundamentals in modern fullstack web development and SaaS architecture patterns
- You are comfortable with using AI to accelerate your research and development
- You have strong opinions on product strategy and design
✨ Bonus Highlight to us if you have any experience with
- Game engines: Unity, Unreal Engine
- Rendering APIs: OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX
- Simulation platforms: Blender, NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim
- Rendering pipelines, 3D math, scene composition, lighting, and materials
- AI/ML systems in research or applied settings
- Computer Vision-based products
- Computer vision datasets (COCO, KITTI, etc.)
- Integrating data pipelines into ML training workflows
