SAP CO-PC (Product Costing) Consultant

We are seeking a Senior SAP CO-PC Consultant to support strategic SAP initiatives and production support activities, with a strong focus on Product Costing, Material Ledger, and Actual Costing processes. This professional will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP solutions, supporting financial closing activities, and collaborating with global teams to implement enhancements and optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a functional expert in SAP Controlling (CO), with a focus on Product Costing (CO-PC). Configure and support Standard Costing, Actual Costing, and Material Ledger processes. Configure and maintain Cost Component Structures, Costing Variants, Valuation Strategies, and Overhead Groups. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing processes. Perform Variance Analysis, Work in Process (WIP) calculations, and settlement activities. Configure and support new plant setups and other CO-related system configurations. Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs related to financial and costing processes. Participate in functional testing, user acceptance testing, and business validations. Create functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and calculations. Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to gather and implement business requirements. Analyze cost structures and provide insights to improve profitability and operational performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex costing, inventory valuation, and financial process issues. Participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and SAP S/4HANA migration projects. Support continuous improvements, custom developments, and system enhancements. Utilize ITSM tools to manage incidents, service requests, problem management, and change management processes. Strong hands-on experience with SAP CO (Controlling). Proven experience with SAP Product Costing (CO-PC). Experience with Material Ledger and Actual Costing. Advanced knowledge of Standard Costing, Cost Rollups, and Cost Estimation processes. Experience with Financial Closing Cockpit. Experience with WIP calculations, Variance Analysis, and Settlement processes. Hands-on experience with SAP CO configuration, including new plant setup. Strong understanding of integration between SAP CO and MM, PP, SD, and FI modules. Experience monitoring and troubleshooting batch jobs. Experience creating functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements. Knowledge of pricing, valuation, inventory accounting, and cost flow processes. Experience participating in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or SAP S/4HANA migrations. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Costing and Universal Journal concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Advanced or Fluent English proficiency.

• SAP FIN Controlling Configuration: Exposure to designing and configuring SAP FIN Controlling solutions, including leveraging knowledge of the latest technologies to meet client needs.

• Packaged Technology Integration: Exposure to integrating packaged technology solutions, utilizing business and industry knowledge to achieve client expectations.
